About this idea
A network‑wide real‑time dashboard that aggregates, normalises and visualises player skill across all games and leagues.
Builder Brief
Home
Network – The app is installed once at the network level and serves every member space (game studios, esports leagues, tournament organizers).
Purpose
Provide a single source of truth for player skill metrics across multiple games/titles within a network. Replace manual CSV merges with real‑time, automated aggregation, normalisation, and visualisation.
App Type
Shared catalog (network‑level) – Data is shared across all spaces; each space contributes anonymised snapshots, and the network admin can view and act on the combined dataset.
Primary Screen
- Network Dashboard – Heatmap of skill distribution per space, overall tier breakdown, and alert list.
- Space View – Filtered view showing only the selected space’s performance against the network.
- Reports – Export button for CSV/JSON reports.
Data Model
- Collection: `skill_metric` (see JSON above) stores daily snapshots.
- Derived tables (computed on the fly):
- `normalized_scores` – per‑title normalisation.
- `network_tiers` – global tier thresholds.
- `alerts` – generated when statistical anomalies are detected.
Screens
| Screen | Audience | Key Elements | |--------|----------|--------------| | Network Dashboard | Network admin, analytics | Heatmaps, tier bars, alert feed, global filters | | Space Dashboard | Space owner | Same widgets filtered to their `space_id` | | Settings | Network admin | API keys for spaces, normalisation parameters, tier definitions | | Reports | Network admin, analytics | Date range selector, CSV/JSON export |
Access Control
- Network Admin – Full read/write across all collections and settings.
- Space Owner – Write access to push snapshots for their own `space_id`; read‑only view of their own space dashboard.
- Analytics User – Read‑only access to all dashboards and reports.
