About this idea
A network‑wide tournament and ranking manager that lets admins set up, run, and compare leagues across all their spaces with unified matchmaking rules and anti‑smurf safeguards.

Purpose
LeagueSync gives a parent organization (e.g., a national esports federation, a multi‑campus university, or a brand with many gaming lounges) a single place to create and oversee competitive leagues that automatically propagate to every space in the network.
Who uses it
- Network admins to define season settings, scoring, and fair‑play policies.
- Space admins (schools, venues, clubs) to launch the league locally, enroll their teams, and view their space’s leaderboard.
- Players and coaches in each space to join matches through the existing game apps, but the ranking data lives only in the network.
Today's workaround
Admins currently juggle separate spreadsheets, manual bracket generators, and ad‑hoc anti‑smurf checks for each venue. Data is duplicated, rules drift, and comparing performance across locations is error‑prone.
Why a dedicated app
LeagueSync centralizes season configuration, enforces consistent matchmaking (skill‑based, role‑balanced, and smurf‑detected), and aggregates results into a live network leaderboard. Admins get instant reports on participation, win‑rates, and fair‑play metrics per space, while each space only sees its own teams and the shared schedule. The app’s minimal UI focuses on creating a season, publishing it to all spaces, and monitoring health, eliminating the need for external tools and manual data reconciliation.
